How START Project started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
Improving antibiotic use in residential aged care
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are researchers investigating how we can improve the use of antibiotics and prevent antibiotic resistance in aged care.
We would like a logo designed for our research study called 'START'. Our study will involve an intervention to improve the use of antibiotics and prevent antibiotic-resistant infections in residential aged care facilities (i.e. 'nursing homes'). We will also be investigating how antibiotic-resistant bacteria are spread between other aged care facilities and hospitals.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Medical & Pharmaceutical
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
- Use of images e.g. medicines, aged care home etc ok however please avoid use of sensitive aged care images (e.g. stereotypical images which depict older people as old and frail)
- Flexible on slogan (change or additions - see description of study above). Welcome suggestions for a catchy slogan!
- We would prefer to align with our organisations primary colours - blue (mainly), white, grey and black.
- Neutral/white background preferred (rather than a background image) as logo will be used on education material, flyers etc
***Would prefer to see designs which can creatively incorporate multiple elements of our research study in the logo as we see all components to be equally as exciting and important (see study description above) - including antibiotics, aged care, tacking antibiotic resistant bacteria and their transmission across settings (aged care <-> hospitals). Be creative! Ok if more than one image is needed too.
