Desired Color Scheme: Blue, Red, Green or Anything That Looks Great Desired Style: Masculine, Modern, Clean, Bold, Powerful, Simple Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai) About This Contest: We will award a first prize of $650 for a logo and stationery package. We will, at our sole discretion, award a second place prize of $150. Feedback will be promptly provided on all entries. We will do our absolute best to give you all a chance to win. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU NEED TO. We will respond promptly to any questions or comments. Who We Are: We are a small company that sells a wide variety of supplies to big truck builders, boat builders and many other manufacturers. We sell stuff like nuts and bolts, nylon zip ties, electrical connectors, etc... To get an idea of what we sell, check out the following: http://www.hellermanntyton.us/products.aspx What We Are Looking For: We want a logo and stationery package that we will be using to build a brand. We will be using the logo extensively both on the web and in print in all sizes. The logo must be able to scale really well in a wide variety of applications and uses. Desired Style: Since we sell to manufactures and distributors, etc... we are looking for something simple, bold, masculine, clean, etc... NOTHING ARTSY or too wimpy. We need something that will hold its own in a room full hardcore men. We do still need it to be classy. Nothing stupid or unprofessional. We are not looking for a clip art nut and bolt or truck or anything. The typeface is really important here. Readability is key. We are looking for something a little creative with the type. Maybe something cool with the double r's at the end or really anything. We want it to be simple, but we are paying for more than just a colored typeface. We could do that :) Try and be a little creative. As far as the letterhead and business cards go, we are looking for simplicity. Colors: Truth be told, we are really open. We like green and blue and red. Stay away from hard to read colors. Anything upbeat, but not too bright would be fine.
