How askmeaboutridinglessons started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Three Socks Farm
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
A horse stable offering lessons, boarding, and training to children and adults. It is a higher end service but introductory level and family friendly. It is an English discipline of riding, specifically hunters, so we teach/train jumping in the tradition of fox hunting.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Animal & Pet
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Silver and maroon
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The farm is named after the white markings on the lower part of a horse’s legs, so specifically a horse with three white socks. Thinking abstractly or representing the Socks in silver and the non sock leg in maroon. Design must be easily embroidered (simple, not busy) for use on jackets, polo shirts, etc. I love designs that have double meaning, like an image imcorporated subtly into another image. I don’t mind the idea of an actual human sock in the image if it were subtle/abstract/part of the larger image. I would like a horse in the design, slightly abstract, since it is a “farm” and not “stable,” to help people know it is a horse facility. I designed the Sunset Willow Stables logo attached. It is the bottom of a horse hoof with a willow tree inside, I like that double meaning design a lot. I love the design with the hummingbird and the music sign. I want a design that can stand alone, not be part of the name of the business.
