Examine Green
We are a two-sister partnership starting a website for concerned shoppers who want to learn more about self-proclaimed green products before they buy. We are passionate about sustainable business and hope to be a portal for ordinary people to move into a more sustainable lifestyle.
With our website of consumer reviews, we hope to create a strong community that will constantly provide new information and keep current with the edge of innovation in green news and technology.
This is our second stab at a logo-- our first attempt at a logo didn't quite convey the mood that we wanted it to.
Our vibe is young, fresh and light-hearted, but well-informed.
Our target community is mostly young families with an established interest in organic and natural products, but we hope to appeal to all consumers, especially the main grocery shopper in each household.
We are open to a lot of formats, including a logo within our name, a logo separate from our name, a logo made out of our name, etc.
We're not 100% devoted to a green-colored logo.
We need to be able to use this logo for our website, promotional material, clothing, banners, business cards--the whole gamut. We want it to be instantly recognizable and not overly complicated or extravagant.
We like 1950's retro, bright colors, seedlings/trees/grass, and we're not afraid of white space. We don't want it to be too feminine, but we don't rule flowers out entirely. It does not need to be something growing, and if you have something in mind that we haven't named here, give it a shot! We are not designers, so we can't say for sure what we would like the best.
No genetically-modified logos allowed. ;)
