I sell healthy, tasty snack foods but also quinoa granola. I am starting small (at farmers markets - then hopefully health food shops and cafes - on-line and then to offices as an alternative to cakes and biscuits) and trying to create a healthier version of what people eat such as pecans roasted with maple syrup and coconut oil, fresh nut butters that are sweetened with dates, gourmet peanut butter cups with 70% dark chocolate, popcorn bars. The people I target are health conscious consumers who don't want nasties in their food. People who shop in health food shops. People interested in sport and healthy eating. Those who hate additives and chemicals and preservatives. Women will probably gravitate towards my food as the packing will hopefully be cute but I want the logo to be kind of masculine. The products are gluten free but this shouldn't be a focus. The focus should be natural, fresh, healthy, energising, non-guilty snacking with no nasties. Just pure food. All ingredients are food, no weird additives that give a long shelf life. Many of the products have cocoa so chocolate lovers should like my products.

The business is called ForForkSake but I will often use the ForForkSake - Eat healthy (if the tag line fits that's cool but if not no worries). I want a fork to be used in the logo. The name is fun but I don't necessarily need the logo to be loads of fun. I'm drawn to simple designs in black and white that will hopefully last the test of time. I like grass and pitch forks and shovels and those natural concepts. The logo must convey - no nasties. Pure food. The packaging I will be using is mainly clear plastic and kraft brown. I hope in time to only use compostable packaging so it will be mainly brown kraft colour. I will also use glass mason jars. I have attached pictures of packaging I like so hopefully you will be able to get an idea of what I like.
