The new logo is a cornerstone in a completely new branding process. I, Jason Wrobel, am a nationally-renowned certified organic gourmet raw foods chef taking my identity, personality, and presence into the mainstream media this year, with a new interactive website and television show in the works. I am the first green, organic raw food chef to appeal to a mainstream American audience – teenage skateboarders in California really enjoy my yummy food as well as middle-aged Midwestern housewives who want to feed their families healthy, delicious, beautiful food.
The logo and the new brand will encompass the essence of my personality – fun, sexy, engaging, entertaining, hilarious, and informative – and meld it with the nature of my food – healthy, organic, raw, light, nutritious, tasty, and easy-to-prepare. My specialty is healthy, amazingly delicious desserts.

Also, for images of me and my food creations, dig this:
The mainstream, baby! This food is no longer fringe, as many people across the world are desiring healthy, sustaining foods without sacrificing taste, texture, or indulgence.
I've played to crowds of hundreds at events and conventions, with middle-aged housewives who want the best cheesecake ever cheering me on, to tattooed punk rock musicians who really dig my mint chocolate chip ice cream sundaes. Truly, I'm bridging some wide target markets with the power of my personality and the mainstream media.
The logo has to bring the fun and the funk to everyone! Dig? I'm an entertaining, outrageous, yet very loving and approachable guy. Your little cousins would want to hang with me and your Grandma would love to pinch my cheeks. Let the logo be an extension of that essence to my fans and audience.
The new logo must convey the elements listed above. The design I’m looking for must be clean, professional, simple, engaging and accurately convey my essence to a wide, mainstream audience and market.
Images that immediately came to my mind are (playing on the name Jay-Sun): the sun, sun/solar rays, leaves, flowers, fruits, vegetables, nature, electric sparks, etc. Something visually that will appeal to the mainstream without looking too "granola" or "hippie". This cuisine is way beyond the counterculture and so must be the logo and new branding.
If you’re feeling REALLY ambitious, draw or create a caricature, line drawing, silhouette, or picture of me for the logo. That would be cool to see - me as a cartoon!
If you really want a frame of reference, check out the logo for mad food scientist and world-traveling Food Network star Mr. Alton Brown:
So, in essence, like Alton’s logo, I’m looking for my name to be incorporated into the logo – Jason Wrobel – along with some unique, dynamic visual elements – for the new design.
Be elegant, be simple, be radically creative, but most of all, be effective in conveying my essence and personality to a wide-ranging audience.
The sky’s the limit! Show me what you’ve got and thanks for taking this project on!
All the best of luck to you!
