The entire experience was great! We had a short amount of time to get a logo and business card design. Having so many great designs to choose from was a real advantage! We can't thank you enough.

Scanslated is a software platform allowing radiologists to convert the typical radiology report, which is written with other physicians as the intended audience, into a patient-facing interactive web page with the goal of improving patient understanding of imaging findings and to empower patients through more robust engagement with healthcare providers. The problem: Until recently, radiology reports were typically read only by the ordering physician. With the advent of online patient portals, many patients are now directly accessing and reading their radiology reports. While this is a welcome change, current radiology reports are not written with the patient as the intended audience, and are full of technical jargon which few patients understand. The time has come for an improved radiology report, one that is specifically tailored for the patient. Scanslated is the solution, allowing the radiologist to produce an interactive web page complete with relevant diagrams and translation of technical jargon into plain english. Scanslated allows the patient to better engage with the healthcare system through improved understanding, and should foster more meaningful doctor-patient interaction.

Scanslated uses technology to empower patients toward more meaningful engagement in their healthcare decisions. The origin of the name is a combination of scan (as in radiology scan such as a CAT or MRI scan) and translated as our purpose is to translate complicated technical radiology reports into simple language that can be understood by patients.
