Our company started out as one silly forum and has grown to a much larger network and business. We buy forums or partner with forum owners to help them earn more from their forums. We are focused in getting higher paying advertisers interested in the best user generated content that exists on the Internet- the content found on forums. We know that forums are the strongest social networks and they need to unify in order to stay relevant and vibrant. CrowdGather seeks to unify them and, in the process, build the largest network of forums, forum owners, and forum members.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a public company so there will be corporate types who look at our site and logo, but we are also looking at appealing to forum owners and advertisers.
We want a logo that will look as good on a business card as it will on our website. A logo that scales and is not easily dated as web 2.0 with bubbly fonts or motifs. Forums and messageboards have been around since the dial-up days- before the world wide web and we want a logo that expresses stability, maturity, and longevity. At the same time forums are weird, filled with passion, and fun. Feel free to play with icons that are representative of threaded discussions if you think you can make it work.
Also, feel free to use the tag line of "Find it on Forums!" as part of your logo since this is the messaging we want to convey as we go forward.
Be creative, have fun and think out of the box. We are unable to come up with more inspiration on our own so we are happy to turn this project over to the crowd...
