Who are you known as?
Les Brasseurs du Grand Paris
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We have been operating as a small brewery/contract brewer in Paris over the last two years under the name “My Beer Company”. We no longer feel this name does the best job of communicating who we are, so we are rebranding as “Les Brasseurs du Grand Paris” (translation: brewers of greater Paris). Founded by an American and French brewer, we make modern beers with bold flavor profiles in a number of local breweries that we market under our brand. We aim to build our own brewery in one of the suburbs of Paris in the next 18-24 months. The craft beer scene in France is still in its infancy. Currently our customers are frequently ex-pats or French who have discovered great beer elsewhere. Our target market is people who love good food and drink and are willing to go out of their way to get a more flavorful product.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Food & Drink
Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The primary use of our logo will be on our beer labels, so suitability for this application is a primary concern. Though the full name is “Les Brasseurs du Grand Paris”, we want “Grand Paris” accentuated. The text “Les Brasseurs du” can be relatively understated. The text itself must be readable, but may be heavily stylized, use any capitalization, font or mix of fonts. Beyond use on our labels, we would also like to be able to use the logo rendered in black and white as well so if many colors are used, please provide a suggested black and white version. An all text logo is acceptable, but including classic beer symbols, ingredients (hops, barley) or other applicable symbols is welcome. Aesthetically we like bold colors, clean lines and strong modern design over excessive intricacy or complexity. We have a strong preference for vector graphics which can be losslessly scaled up for large posters if necessary. Upon completion of this contest we have 3-4 labels that we need created within 2 or 3 weeks. We would be happy to work directly with the winner of the contest to realize these designs.
