The logo design should be modern, serious, minimalist, grungy, hipster and quirky.
FONT: We quite like the idea of playing around with brackets within the name; e.g. '(DE)CONSTRUCT(ED)'. Because, as explained above, the label takes apart (deconstructs) images, characters or colours and puts them back together (constructs). We're also open to your ideas on using all CAPS, some caps or no caps at all.
IMAGE: An animal character or even a made up character can be incorporated into the logo. The character should be grungy, hipster, quirky but serious; i.e. not a young-ish looking character. It can be depicted in an unusual/unexpected way; e.g. a flying cow, or a guitar playing buddha, etc. The expression on the character's face should be neutral; i.e. neither smiling nor frowning. Our preferred animals are bears, monkeys, lions, bulls/cows, owl/hornbill/cockatoo, rhinos, or roosters. Other than characters, if you can think of a 'deconstructed' object or structure, we could consider it if it suits us.
The character/object/structure should be simple/minimalist; i.e. less detail on the face/body/silhouette but inclusion of more quirky and interesting features/accessories. Creation of a character/object/structure with less detail could be achieved through clever play and combination of shapes and blank spaces, as is evident with the samples we've uploaded. The character/object/structure should not resemble abstract art
