We are a small startup hedge fund targeting sophisticated institutional and private investors. Currently, we don’t have a logo (identity) or a business card, and seeking a design that will resonate with our target investor audience and become memorable.
The name of our firm is “StoneBridge Capital, LLC.” Our investment strategy involves long equities with option trading strategies to reduce risk and create excess returns. "Stone” signifies strength and safety, while “bridge” signifies a path to investment returns and objectives.
I look forward to working with the talented designers and providing them with daily feedback.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target audience includes institutional investors (pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds), and high net worth private investors who generally have over $1 million in liquid investment assets. The minimum investment per investor will be $100,000. The typical member of our audience will be over the age 45, conservative, and very sophisticated.
We're looking for a logo and business card that’s simple (minimalist), clean and modern, and that communicates strength, trustworthiness, and stability. The logo should bear the name of the firm - StoneBridge Capital, LLC. An image in the logo is optional, but would be nice to see an abstract bridge (made of stone) for example. The colors should be understated, conservative and appropriate for the sophisticated target audience (no cartoonish or loud colors).
We'd like a logo design and color(s) that can be fluidly used across different materials, such as business cards, website, powerpoint presentation, and legal documents.
The logo and business card designs should be sent in separate files. Each should be in a format acceptable by Microsoft Office and most standard web site hosting platforms and templates (we're currently using http://www.justhost.com). The business cards should have room for address, telephone, fax, email and website info.
I'm truly looking forward to all your great designs and creativity.
