Small home remodeling business, going for a clean yet rustic look that has feels for the Pacific Northwest. Looking to appeal to sharp eyed homeowners who recognize quality work, I feel a logo should represent that, right?

I'd like it to be all one color, preferably black. Trying to make it easier for silkscreen, or die-cut stickers, patches, etc.

Couple target ideas I have...
-all one color
-would like in the logo a home outline(with character preferably, this is what I'm doing remodeling people's homes) tree silhouettes, and mountains in background. Open for your ideas as well, looking for a very stimulating looking logo with fun/cool things in every corner.
-was hoping for the overall/rough shape of it to be shaped like a shield (was thinking about getting patches made for hats a shirts)

Images I've uploaded are of what I'm roughly looking for, bold lines, northwest vibe, stimulating, kinda hip. One of them is a logo draft of a local designer I tried out, it's after 4 rounds of back and forth drafts and he still wasn't really nailing it... the house is pretty sad and boring huh?
