We are a small software company in California called Boomplex (http://boomplex.com). We make well-designed software that is easy to use and solves real problems in our lives. We want the aesthetic of our software to reflect and augment its quality.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Anyone who reads blogs can and should use Blogazine. Blogazine compiles an iPad magazine out of articles from your favorite blogs. You simply add the blogs you'd like to follow to your blogroll and each time you launch Blogazine you will be able to quickly page through articles from those blogs as if you were flipping through a magazine in your hammock.
We need an icon and a logo. The icon will be used as the app's icon. Both icon and logo will be used on the app's splash screen and web site.
A simple example of the format we're looking for is the logo at the top of this web page. Icon on the left; app name on the right.
The style should be less playful and more classy. Think more like the NY Times and Time magazine.
Blogazine's tagline is "For the reading of quality blogs". We're trying to promote the production of quality blogs that would be worthy of inclusion in a legitimate magazine. Our icon and logo should reflect that.
