The International Pharmaceutical Privacy Consortium was established in 2002. Membership is open to research-based biopharmaceutical companies interested in global data privacy compliance and best practices to advance drug development and treatment. The group is comprised of 19 global pharmaceutical corporations and works primarily on compliance issues with privacy regulation at the global, federal, and state level. The consortium objectives are: 1) Serve as a resource for sound analyses of data protection requirements and compliance tools tailored to the pharmaceutical industry; 2) Serve as a forum for industry dialogue and consensus-building on data privacy and security issues; 3) Facilitate biopharmaceutical industry benchmarking and development of good privacy compliance practices; 4) Play a constructive advocacy role with key government officials and stakeholders through formal comments and letters to policymakers and regulatory authorities. Logo types to explore
Regarding our name, the group is colloquially known as IPPC, but the acronym is not particularly recognizable. We would prefer to incorporate the full title (International Pharmaceutical Privacy Consortium) into the logo unless the visual is clearly connected to the pharmaceutical industry. We ask that designers consider that we will be using the logo on large presentation screens and high quality print materials. We request files be at least 300 dpi and ask that winning designer supply us with a high quality vector file of the final logo.
