LandART is a new landscape contracting service. Our goal is to service upper class residential homes. We want to have a bold, yet classy and professional appearance. We would eventually do a vehicle design with black vehicles. We really want to have a modern yet professional feeling as my clientele is made up of professional and wealthy people, and our look has to fit in with their culture. Our business is service oriented, starting out as mainly a lawn care company, but working into full scale landscape construction; which includes pools, gazebos, patios, etc...
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The income bracket of the prototypical customer is around $200,000. The lifestyle trends of this customer are white-collared individuals or professionals. Since the age that is being targeted is 40-65, they generally will not have children at home. The customers are high quality and high service oriented. The targeted audience are professionals themselves so they will expect professional service and appearance.
Our requirements are fairly open-ended. We are open to different ideas. We like the color green, but nothing bright or metallic, but again we are open to other colour suggestions as long as they are tasteful. We would really like to have an icon, as opposed to just word art. The icons can be a variety of images related to the landscaping industry as we are very open to creative suggestions as we are looking for something different than the competition. Our vision is having landART printed as one word, with the "land" being all in lower case, and the "ART" all in uppercase lettering. The "L" may be capitalized or lowercase - but we do not want an emphasis on it or else it looks like "L" "and" "art". We are also thinking of including the words "Landscape Contractors" in smaller print under/beside the "LandART" to give our customers a clear idea of our business. So if we could see some logos with "Landscape Contractors" in it as well, that would be great. We want to stay away from anything cheap, and we also would not like the logo to have anything to do with a paintbrush, or anything directly related to art. We would like the logo to be artistic, but remain professional. We would also like to say a word of caution about copyrights as we would appreciate your checking your work and respecting copyright laws.
The logo would be used on stationary, truck stickering, road signage, business cards and company uniforms. We have attached a few logo ideas that we liked just for your assistance - but feel free to be creative and post completely different ideas and we will be sure to provide feedback!
