venataur got their new logo design by running a design contest:

Boatleash.com is expanding. We have system that can track the Geo-coordinates of any yacht, truck, that has our system attached. Alarms are sent to email and cell phone through SMS. If yachts are unplugged, drifting, or in the wrong place, our system can track them. We want to expand the market to jet ski, U-Haul, Firetruck, T.V. vans, and any other vehicles that would benefit from our tracking system.
What's your vision?
The website sucks, but business is good, so we are going to be creating a new site, new look, new logo for overall system. The product name is base on the Leash, "Protect your investments!" Security system for large yachts, and other vehicles that need to be tracked quickly. Any and all ideas accepted. Mostly have fun. Again, the main website is getting an overhaul, so you can look at what the product is/does, but do not use the visuals that are already there.
- Item 1...Sex Sells, of course - High End Clients - Broader market than just yachts now - Tough works too
- Item 1...Quick Feedback should guide look - Pink is not tough, nor protects investments
