This design was for a vacation rental and future B&B that we are intending to use as a flagship brand logo for other possible ventures (including food products). The look needed to be both quaint but with touches of sophistication that would appeal to more urban, upscale audiences who we are trying to attract to this space. It needed to thread the needle between various moods. GiaKenza did a wonderful job, creating different 'looks' for our logo, including versions which featured our building, and text-only versions which did not. This helped us to come closer to finding what we needed to envision our own brand and its various uses, something which the other - very talented designers - did not do. It was this insight - that we didn't have ourselves - which set Gia apart from the others and helped us achieve the look we were striving for. Once he had won the commission, he was very responsive and helped us get the files we needed, and make small tweaks to the deliverables, as we worked with our printer. I'm so grateful - excellent work. I strongly recommend and endorse this designer. Many thanks! -chris bennem, proprietor Glen Hollow
How SportShark started their logo design journey
We are a small community based organisation looking to revitalise local community by attracting outside visitors to our region. We are energetic, dynamic and committed to community improvement through learning and sustainability. We offer services in the fields of Education, Eco adventures and tourism. The region we represent is the Pyrenees region in North West Victoria in Australia which is an area rich in heritage boasting many boutique wineries and farming plantations. Formerly a goldrush region, we now seek to attract visitors for adventures sports and learning grass roots practical skills. Food and Wine in this region are excellent. We are trying to get across a personality that is energetic and committed to living well instead of being stuck in the urban rat race.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The target audience is vast - there is no age demographic as we hope to target people of all ages. Ideally the logo will be evenly balanced to be appealing to all age groups.
Some of our audience will be engaging us for learning and education, some will be more adventure based- but the common theme of all will be a desire to break away from the monotony of daily life and experience something new!
You are free to be creative throughout the full design of this logo. My only suggestions is that I would like to logo to be:
1. Simple and not cluttered
2. Preferably contain the colour gold to represent the gold rush era of the region
3. Any research on the region itself may give you some good ideas re: shapes/themes
4. Not be crass, more classy and vibrant
