mholdens82 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo/brand for a college football news website (not the website itself)

Opinions. Stories. History. News . . . . (not a requirement to include this slogan)
I'm targeting a college football audience with a media website focused primarily on the written word. I want to offer smart, original, entertaining and independent opinions on the most uniquely American of all sports and a game that inspires deep passions. The plan is to share original writing with an audience enthusiastic for the kind of independent, non-corporate thinking and opinion making that is conspicuously missing from the industry at this moment.
Other color requirements
I like Blues with Yellow/Gold; White or Silver (UCLA/Pitt or Duke); and Orange (Florida Gators) I like Green and Athletic Yellow and White trim (early 90's Oregon Ducks uniform); Green and Gold is good, too. I like Black and Silver I like Scarlet Red and Gold (early 90's Florida State football)

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
