He is great to work with. Very quick responses to any questions or modifications to the great designs he submitted. His submissions also included a mock up of the logo on a card which really helped visual the design. All round, great experience.

How Formulate started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Formulate Information Design
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We design forms and other interfaces where people provide information in order to receive a product or service. These forms can be on paper, mobile, web or desktop. We also provide advice and training on form design best practice, and run research projects into form design.
Our target audience for our services are government, corporate and not-for-profit organisations that collect information as part of what they do, as well as the developers, designers, user experience consultants etc who need to learn about form design. Typically our clients are from larger organisations, as they are the ones that can afford to get a specialist to ensure their forms are efficient and effective.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Note that in most things I refer to the business as "Formulate", but the official name is "Formulate Information Design". So "Information Design" should probably be included in the logo, but not with nearly as much prominence as "Formulate".
Logo needs to work in colour and black & white.
Ideally, the logo will convey a sense of: making things simple and clear; relieving stress; helping things run more smoothly; minimising errors, problems and rework; streamlining; modernising. This is all the things we want our clients to experience thanks to our services.
As a business, we are warm and personable, but still professional and focused on getting the job done. We are a high quality service — the opposite of 'quick and dirty' — but we don't charge exhorbitant prices and our clients get a great return on investment.
Finally, we work in form design because most forms really suck and we know it doesn't have to be that way. We want to make the world a better place in our own little way by reducing the pain and burden of filling out forms.
