We want a simple logo with a memorable and easily-recognisable design, which can be easily reproduced on different materials (website, brochure, letterheads etc). It would be great if you could supply us with a transparency (something we can put onto any background or colour) – one version that we can put on a light background, and a second version which we can put on a dark background.
Acousticians tend to use the sound-wave symbol in their materials as short-hand for acoustic products/services – we would suggest you use the sound-wave too.
We are planning to use the colour blue in our materials, as again this is commonly used in the acoustics industry and tends to instil trust in acousticians and architects. We have not chosen a specific shade of blue. Again for the purposes of this exercise, if you can provide us with a logo which does not commit to any particular colour pallet, and if you can provide us one design to go on a light background, and one to go on a dark background, this will give us flexibility on how we use it.
We would like either Music Practice Rooms or MPR incorporated into the logo.
We attach a picture of a sound-isolating music practice room to show you what they look like.
