How Computergiant started their logo design journey
ComputerGiant Consulting, Inc. (The Inc. Can be Omitted)
I am a Web Designer, Search Engine Optimization expert, IT Consultant (servers, networking, printers, etc.) and all around IT Guru. I am also 6'5" tall but slender/athletic, hence the name ComputerGiant. I project confidence to my clientele and want the logo to reflect both professionalism and capability so they know they are making the right choice.
I am also have a fun and laid back attitude. If people want to work with me and go with the best, then great! If not it's their loss and I don't hold a grudge against them, 'cause I know they'll eventually come back around when the other guy can't get the job done.
Essentially I have enough computer experience that the shadow of my knowledge can cover everything a business needs. While I know even the smallest details of technology and can speak the jargon day and night with the best of them, I do not do this to clients. I phrase the information in ways people can understand without having 10 years of IT experience. I am also a businessman who has run numerous businesses and knows how to grow them successfully.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My target clientele are small to mid-sized businesses. I always work directly with the owner of firms and have been a Chief Technology Office (CTO) twice. So the audience is usually a business owner who has the power to hire me on the spot.
I need the logo to be professional because I charge a lot of money and the image I project cannot be taken as second rate. It is very difficult to gain new clients because no one wants to pay the price I charge.
I am willing to see some giant images in the logo as long as it is done tastefully (no overly cartoon-ish images please).
I like Green and Orange as a color scheme, but really don't care about the colors as long as it looks fantastic! I did go to Virginia Tech so Maroon and Orange are also good colors for me. Ultimately you will decide what looks best.
I promise to give feedback within the hour on any designs I receive (except when I'm sleeping, usually 11pm-8am EST).
