I received some feedback that the brief was lacking some finer detail about the brand identity that is important during the design process..
Apologies for not including this earlier, shout out to Daniel Fulop for the feedback and advice..
A little about me..?
I'm 32, live in Melbourne Australia with my wife where we previously live in Sydney. I grew up in Auckland, New Zealand. As a kid I grew up with skateboarding, although I don't skate too much anymore (too old) it was alway my dream to start a t-shirt clothing label.
What does Kastel mean?
Is you were to rearrange the letters it would spell SKATE with a L remaining; so for the 'Love of SKATE.'
I was thinking if you could show us some of your products for example?
Unfortunately, I dont have any products to show case, as soon as a logo / brand identiy is completed, next step is product. Starting with t-shirts and caps.
If you have similar brands you like (ie Vans, etnies, etc...).
I grew up in New Zealand so;
Do you have any visual concept, or value, cultural element you want to include?
No value or cultural elements to include, I am drawn towards the concept of including a triangle for some reason. When I was in Mexico, I got a triangle tattooed on my ankle.
What is your company's mission statement?
"Inspired through skateboarding and all things street"
What is your vision?
Short term; to build on this dream and see if become a reality, executing the launch of this label; logo design, website build, Instagram marketing stargety to get the brand out there.
Long term; with theTokyo Olympics coming up in 2020, and with skateboarding due to appear at the Games, if I could crack into the Japanese market that would be an accomplishment.
What would you like to achieve?
To start a cool skateboarding/street clothing label, generating revenue is not the prioritiy. I want to create a brand that people like, that is made out of high quality materials and finishes (woven labels / swing tags).
What is your marketing / sales strategy?
I am in process of building a website, need logo to complete brand identity and to start building content. Marketing strategy will start on Instagram, with the help of 3 younger nephews I'm hoping they can help build the brand through their influence and circle of friends.
What style ? Cool, groovy, laid back, or more like into-your-face, dominant, or stylish, fancy?
A bit of everything really, I dont want to be too in your face but something that pops, thats cool and people are drawn towards.
Are you a no frills brand? Premium brand?
Would like to be seen as a premium brand; high quality material and finishes (woven labels / swing tags.

What is special about your products...
The personality that comes with the brand, I want to include this in the content to follow. As previously mentioned, the quality and care that comes with the final products, as a clothing lover myself I want to make sure it has the highest quality materials and finishes to complete the purchase.
I hope this helps..
