The company is currently going through a transitional period where we have etched out a very strong reputation among our clients and this reputation has spread within the council areas we deal with and the great community of the surrounding area. As the company grows we are looking at updating our branding as we look to extend the client base and our work becomes more prominent and visible, particularly as we push to take on large scale projects. The previous logo, which has been in use for approximately 10 years features a dormer style roof, which in terms of architectural and construction quality is representative of a "economical" use of space. Moving forward the logo isn't currently representative of the company as a whole.
We would like a logo that is understated and simple in is overall viewing or at first glance but deep down and on further inspection or second viewing, the logo has embedded themes or symbols that is representative of the company moving forward. On the other hand we have an appreciation for logo designs that a visually appealing to look at that may not necessarily have deeper meaning, but would look great on branding items, such as billboards, cranes, hoarding, letterheads, trucks, t-shirts etc.
Other things we would like to mention that could help the process:
- Open to a "3D design" logo
- Would consider just having the "S" or "SD" as a logo instead of "Saf Developments", if this makes the logo easier to interpret and appealing.
- Currently blue is a bit of the colour scheme we have though this is preferred we are open to options
- It is very important to have a level of sophistication and elegance to the logo design or font design. something that reads luxury, modern or even industry leading.
I have attached a file showing the old logo and two images of logos we saw that we thought were good examples. Although they are good examples, we dont want the designs to be boxed in to look similar.
