Logo Design for Professional Photographer

I am in need of a logo for my new photography business. I specialize in children/family/individual portraiture and weddings. I need a fresh and simple logo. Please read design brief as I have some specific design requests. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!

I am looking for a logo that includes the full business name "Melissa Ann Photography". I would prefer "Melissa Ann" to be scripted and set apart from "Photography", but please no overly fancy or traditional fonts. Iam open to different types and styles of fonts! The logo will also be used as a watermark on all of my images for online viewing. It would be great if the initials MA could be incorporated perhaps and used alone as well (but not necessarily a requirement).I DO NOT want any camera's, film, or any other images/symbols that represent objects or people to be a part of the logo. I am open however to other symbols as long as the integrity of the logo remains simple and modern. I prefer neutral colors(black,white,gray), but you can feel free to experiment with other colors(but stay away from yellow and orange). And one more thing... no gradients.
