New Logo Design wanted for Leader of the Pack

Logo is for a community service platform for a contestant in the Miss America's Outstanding Teen program. This is the teen pageant for the Miss America Organization. The name of my platform is "Leader of the Pack" which focuses on the importance of proper animal care and the benefits of animal rescue and adoption.

I am looking for a cute dog of some kind that would wear a crown that is the same design of the Miss America Outstanding Teen official crown.

I would like 2 logos one with just "A dog with crown" either on his/her head or maybe in the mouth like a bone. (not sure how that would look) and then a separate one with the dog/crown and the slogan "Leader of the Pack"
Update:2/26/11 How about a girl dog with a pageant sash that says "Leader Of the Pack" but still has the crown on, maybe lopsided with one ear sticking through.

I have attached a concept of what I am looking for along with pictures of the official crown. However, I need it to be more graphic so it would look good on tee shirts etc... I wouldn't mind if the dog was more animated or cartoon like just something cute. Actually, it could also be a group of animals ( dog, cat, bunny, gerbil, guinea pigs, etc... ) because my platform deals with all pets not just dogs. But I would still like the dog to have the crown. Target audience would be Teens.
