IdeaMan got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for entrepreneurial blog-- Livingideas.com

Businesses start as ideas and grow-- they are in essence "Living Ideas". I prefer designs that are web 2.0 feeling-- light and open. I will include a link to the website of the winning designer for a minimum of one month after I launch. Since my target audience is small business owners, this may be a great way to get more work.
What's your vision?
LivingIdeas.com is a blog dedicated to exploring how ideas become businesses and how they grow and evolve. I will be interviewing business owners, entrepreneurs, etc and asking them why, when, how they started and grew their businesses. This is a labor of love at this point-- I really am interested in talking to successful and unsuccessful business people about their experiences. I need a logo that conveys a high level of professionalism as I'm much more likely to get important interviews. I have set up a blog at www.livingideas.com but I haven't started posting any of my interviews yet. I'm waiting until I have at least 15 interviews then I'll launch. Not only will I post articles, but I'll also be posting podcasts and possibly video interviews.
