glomast needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 47 designs submitted by 15 freelance designers.
Need something that evokes a feeling of cool software, easy, fun to use, and helpful. A little Skype-ish texture/look would be good too.
A sample (basic & blocky) logo provided for the basic idea. I like the color scheme and logo I've picked, but if you think you have better ideas, I'd sure like to see them.

I like the color scheme and logo I've described, but if you think you have a better idea, I'd sure like to see them! Something basically as on the header of the current website, but with a more professional font / logo. Sample logo is at the top of this page http://www.headdetail.com. The current logo is essentially a light-blue arrow which swoops from the front of a person's head to the back. The arrow has the overall shape of a brain. I'd like this, or variations on this theme. The "person" in the icon could look more MSN-ish. Maybe that brain texture could show up in the arrow too?
The capitalization of HeadDetail is not decided. Feel free to experiment with that too.
- Delivery in a vector-based format. Either Photoshop PSD or Fireworks CS3 file, etc.
- Web 2.0 style logo / Skype style
- Prefer using green & light-blue. Other colors would be interesting to see (orange?)
- the graphic should be able to stand alone & also look good beside the text
- should look OK in both greyscale & color
- Prefer a logo that the graphic part can be used in an icon (i.e. still looks good when shrunk down)
- evokes imagery of memories & remembering people better
- nothing too complex (i.e. not too many parts)
- no fluorescent colors (the light blue on my example is supposed to be just a light blue)
