JamesBellevue got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for large retail shopping center
Check out JamesBellevue's Logo design contest…
Logo design is for a retail shopping project called "The Shops at the Galleria" located in Bee Cave, Texas (near Austin). This is a large multi-building retail center. The logo will be used for the project's identification on monument-type highway signs, as well as marketing. Logo should be oriented vertically. The height to width ratio of the logo is approximately 4 to 1. The logo should include the project name and a graphic, or just the project name. Project name can be either "The Shops at the Galleria" or "Shops at the Galleria".
What's your vision?
Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai) The City of Bee Cave favors natural colors (earth tones) and muted colors. Bright colors are discouraged. Although the logo on the monument-type signs will be about 8 feet tall, the logo will only be visible from a distance, and many of the cars will be traveling at 45 mph. Therefore, the color scheme must retain visibility from a distance. We realize this is somewhat contradictory, so these color guidelines are somewhat flexible, and the winner might not follow the color guidelines. Just use your imagination, and give us your best product. Feedback will be provided. The winning designer will be required to sign a contract assigning the copyrights for the logo prior to payment.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at £239.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

And then… they selected a winner!
This is my 3rd logo with 99designs and LogoB was very easy to work with, responded quickly, and made the requested tweaks very quickly. Thanks for another great experience.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
