How Alameda Advisor started their logo design journey
We need a contemporary and clean logo for a legal consulting firm. We work with companies to innovate their legal department spending and intelligently cut legal costs (both in terms of their internal legal department budget and what they spend with outside law firms).
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The logo will be used on every page of the presentation decks that constitute the firm's final work product, on the web site, collateral materials, etc. Building the web site is next and the logo will really set the tone and color scheme for that. I like non-primary slightly off-beat colors, not primary. We will provide lots of feedback and we're going to need help with design of our website too, so there may be a continuing relationship on a contract basis.
-Professional design that is contemporary but timeless
-Simple color scheme (2-3 colors).
-Format needs to be ready for website and word/powerpoint files.
- if you use a non-standard font we need the font too
-something not too long or tall given it'll go on every page of our work product.
-Too many colors, neon, a rainbow scheme.
-Reflection under the logo.
-Generic clip art.
-Anything that looks "stodgy legal" -- too old school
no "scales of justice" or frankly anything from a law library.
