We’re seeking a logo for Manhattan Market, a boutique style convenience store located in an upscale mixed-use condominium/office/retail/hotel project located 10 minutes west of the Las Vegas Strip.
It’s the kind of place where residents of the development and the local community can stop in to grab freshly prepared foods to go, sundries, and packaged liquor.

While the project is located 10 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, you’ll want to draw on a more urban, New York flavor, and avoid anything that says Las Vegas.
Manhattan Market will be located in ManhattanWest, a mixed-use community featuring 700 residences, shops, restaurants, offices, and a hotel. Customers will typically be evenly split male and female, 25-55, professional, singles or younger couples, and empty nesters.DescriptionWe’re looking for a logo that feels independent and original, rather than a rehash of a chain convenience store. The work needs to be easily adaptable for use on everything from exterior signage to letterhead, to our website.
oThe winner of our last contest hit on something we’d never have been able to effectively describe ourselves, but we loved it, so we are a little looser on what we want with this logo than we were with our previous contest. We will likely be inspired from entries we like to narrow down to a more specific direction.

• A look and feel that plays well with the overall look and feel of the project.
• Something that will work as well in one or two color as it works in four color process. We’ll need to be able to use the logo in everything from electronic media to one color promotional items.
• Unaltered clip art. If we can tell it’s clip art, you’ll want to stay away from it.
• “On-the-nose” New York or Manhattan themes
• Las Vegas themes
