Justin Tayler Photography
My name is Justin Tayler, a 34 year old from central london who discovered photography for the first time little over a year ago.
I concentrate on physique photography and examples of my images can be seen at http://www.modelmayhem.com/fitnessphotos
Now that I am taking my work more seriously I need a brand that I can be proud of and takes me to the next level professionally.
As a photographer who do you make an image for?
Is the intention to fulfil a client's brief, to flatter the model or purely self-indulgent?
My photography compliments my other businesses so doesn't need to make money, therefore I have to appeal only to myself and the models.
I tend to shoot male models aged 20 - 30, therefore the design needs to be masculine and appeal to a youthful but style driven audience.
Whilst not making me money a well designed brand will help save me money. Models will work for free if they think you have status, a successful logo design that appeals to the models will help give that status.
The logo (or watermark) will be put on each photo that I take to give it my brand.
Normally there are 3 Elements to the design of a photographers logo.
1. The photographers name - 'Justin Tayler'
2. Usually the word photography appears normally underneath, but sometimes beside.
3. Often there is a logo for the initials - 'JT'
I would like all 3 elements designed.
example of successful photographers in my area are
Just to give you an example of what others have as their logos and how they use them
I have attached some of my photos so you can use them to add the logo you design and display your ideas.
