Medical & Pharmaceutical
MRC-Holland is an Amsterdam based biotech company that produces probemixes to identify copy number changes and known point mutations in the DNA sequence of a large number of genes. The technology that MRC-Holland employs is called MLPA® (Multiplex Ligation-dependent Probe Amplification). MLPA® is the gold-standard in the genomics field for the detection of duplications and deletions within genes. The company is the sole producer of MLPA® probemixes and reagent kits. MRC-Holland produces over 400 probemixes that cover a large number of genes known to be involved or associated with disease, including very rare conditions. Our products are used worldwide by clinicians as well as by scientists for basic research. We have a very good customer-company relationships and foster interaction between our customers to promote improvement to existing products and development of new products.
Other color requirements
Please see included color pallet in the uploaded files. You can also use different shades of these colors e.g. lighter darker but we would like to stick in this color scheme. Not all colors need to be included in the logo and preferably it should only contain 2-3 colors max, but there can be multiple shades of these colors. We are open to other colors that fit the current scheme and should look nice with all of these colors as they will be used in other promotional material. Colors are: 002e46, 0b72ba, ff9405, fdbb45, ff6e32, f68e55, ff4860, f26c4f, 02adfa, aaaad5, 15c7c9, 6f9ed4, 28e198, 82ca9d
We would like a logo that promotes the company name, that is simple, sophisticated, and modern. We would also like an element in the logo that could could carried over into sub logos, e.g. a stylized double helix. An example of this that we like is the logo for the company natera, https://www.natera.com/, and their product logos. We also like the logo for the company illumina, illumina.com, for its simplicity. We have included images from our current company logo, but the new logo does not need to incorporate any element from this logo. We have also included an image from our digitalMLPA logo that the company will likely retain, it is what our color pallet is based off of and can be used for inspiration. In addition, there is an image of one of our materials that explains the MLPA technique, it is meant to give you an idea of the current house style.
