We're from Make-Sure, we've developed an online age-verification system for under 18's which will stop adults being able to pose as kids.
The strength of the system will be when many children are validated by Make-Sure - creating a trusted marker of authenticity and enabling children themselves to identify immediately individuals who are not validated and who they should refrain from communicating with.
We're a young company, looking to offer a clean, accessible brand identity that expresses confidence, reliability, security and safety.
Key target audience for service will be children under 18. They will be web saavy and aware of modern design and contemporary styling. They will be drawn to the service in order to verify their identity so they will be conscious about security and internet safety.
The logo must also be acceptable for parents looking into the service for their children as well as online businesses such as social networks as well as internet safety organisations and press who will come to the site in order to review our service and determine the nature of our product offering.
The logo will be used internationally so must not include images and/or text which may be perceived as offensive in US, Asia, Australia and EU. Opportunity to use an image or style that may represent strength or security in any of these cultures - see Starbucks use of a mermaid.. in Japan a mermaid is seen as lucky and so Japanese consumers had greater brand trust in the company from the outset.
As we're involved with Internet safety and children the logo must express our brand values of safety, reliability, confidence, strength, security and accessibility.
If symbols or graphics are to be included we would like them to express how people will be brought together within a 'circle-of-trust' or environment of authenticity when they use Make-Sure.
The name of the service is "Make-Sure", with our current URL of http://www.make-sure.com/.co.uk.
We are intending to change the future name purely to MakeSure so the logo will require adjusting at that time.
We're looking for the logo to be suitable for web and print and provided in the usual format.
We're open to designer creativity with respect to colours and design but looking for a new, clean, modern design that is simple. The website design will be clean, with lots of white spaces and a great UI so the logo must be consistent.
Please experiment with different colours, textures. Variations on light/dark backgrounds to represent web/print media.
The logo can be made up of text only, or it may incorporate some additional graphic/image or illustration.
