I am the owner of the community building blog, http://www.communityspark.com. I am currently working on a complete overhaul of the blog's design, and the first thing I need is a new logo.

Community Spark is a blog offering tips and advice for building successful online communities, be they chat sites, online forums, blogs or social networks.

I want the logo to reflect the following attributes:

Fresh, Original, Exciting, Community, Professional

Please pay no attention to the site's current design - that will change to reflect the style of the winning logo design.

As for colours, designs etc - let your imagination run wild. I am looking for originality and some spark! I want something exciting, that reflects the subject of the blog, and I want something professional.

I am not interested in the overused 'Web 2.0' shiny/reflective logo look. Make it original, please!

Please don't submit 'generic' logo designs that could work with any number of websites. I need something absolutely unique; something that looks like it was designed specifically for Community Spark.

I do not want the logo to incorporate stars. Stars have no relevance to the website, so I do not want them to be included in the logo design.  

I also need the logo to be exciting. I need it to be dynamic, professional and original. The winning logo will absolutely represent exactly what Community Spark is about: building successful online communities through passion and excitement.

I chose the name 'Community Spark' for the website as it reflects these attributes. The logo needs to do the same.

Payment will be made by PayPal or Western Union. If you are from the UK, I can also pay by cheque or direct bank transfer.

I have held a number of successful contests here (when it was still integrated with SitePoint) so you can be confident of receiving timely, constructive feedback and professionalism. In return, I expect you to be professional and honest.

Please note, the winning logo designer will be required to sign a transfer of rights agreement.
