Hexawise's product is about two things:
Maximizing test coverage while minimizing the number of tests.
Better testing efficiency and quality.
We want a company logo that helps us tell this story. We want a company logo that can help us tell this story and have it stick with the people we tell.
Hexawise is targeted at professional quality assurance and software development engineers who are looking to design smarter test cases for their software. There are so many combinations of functions and configurations possible in any sophisticated application that testing them all is impossible. There can be hundreds of thousands of combinations. Our target audience realizes this is a problem that they have and are looking for a way to solve it. Hexawise helps them design the minimum number of software tests that are required to meet their quality objectives.
Primary use of the logo is on the web application. Logo will also be used in all the usual places logos are used: press mentions, advertisements, promotional materials, promotional merchandise, business cards, etc.
The logo should be creative and original. Nothing derivative or stale.
The logo should be specific enough to the concept of the company that it's either obvious or can be easily explained. The logo must be completely original work.
The company and product name is "Hexawise" and it should be part of the logo. "Hexawise" can just be in type next to the graphic or can be a part of or even the entirety of the logo. If "Hexawise" is not part of the logo, then include it as text as a design suggestion of the typeface, logo size and placement of the name in the logo's canonical form.
Feel free to optionally show how the logo would work with the tagline: "More Coverage. Fewer Tests." Don't make the tag line an indispensable part of the logo however. Logo should work alone without the tagline too.
Vector logo delivered as an Adobe Illustrator file required.
