ejaxon got their new logo design by running a design contest:

No slogan... but the actual name of my lab is "the stuttering and vvariability lab"
I study stuttering and the brain, specifically the variability of stuttering (i.e., why people stutter sometimes but not other times...), as well as the factors that influence variability (social interaction, anticipation). I need a logo that represents stuttering, the brain, and if possible, the concept of variability. I might want my lab name ("savvy lab") in the logo, but not sure. Stuttering could be represented by something, "broken." See the broken talk bubble with two brains attached--this is my current logo and represents stuttering, brain, and social (i.e., the two brains). A google search for "cajal brain" will return lots of good brain ideas. Variability could be represented by a graph--I attached a few graphics. I also uploaded a tattoo of mine, which is the acoustic waveform from me saying, "stu-s___stu-stutterer" (I'm a person who stutters as well).
I’m interested in combination logos.
