How weisstechhouse started their logo design journey
We are a resource hub for innovation and entrepreneurship at a major U.S. university. Our organization is planning to release a service called PennLaunch. It will be an online platform for our college community to utilize its members’ vast skill sets and resources. It is a searchable database for students, staff, and faculty to join or find team members for new and ongoing projects, as well as to advertise skills they have to offer.
Projects can range anywhere from starting a company to developing web applications, and can be related to any discipline (i.e., computer science, foreign languages, legal advice). Faculty may also use this to search for potential research assistants.
The primary goal of this service is to enable individuals and groups to easily connect with one another based on their skill sets.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Students (both undergraduates and graduates), faculty, and staff of the university. We are marketing this service to all majors and disciplines, not just engineering or business.
PennLaunch is one word, with letters “P” and “L” capitalized.
Logos are encouraged to be creative, but should be kept professional and clean. It should stand out as something everyone can immediately identify with our service.
Logo should scale easily to any size .
Our school colors are red and blue, but incorporating them isn’t a strict requirement. We prefer design over color.
Do not feel compelled to research our university, its emblem, or related designs. Our connection to the university is irrelevant for the logo.
We will require the original vector files.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
