USAChurches.org is a detailed directory of Christian churches in the United States. We provide a simple and informative resource to assist people in finding a church home or place of worship in their local community that is right for them. We developed our site in 2000 to serve the Columbus, OH metro area and we expanded in 2005 to serve people nationwide.
We are currently seeking either a refresh of our current logo or a completely new design.
We serve two audiences:
First and foremost, we serve visitors searching for a Christian church or place of worship. We list Christian churches of all denominations and sizes located in the United States.
We also serve church leaders and members, seeking to promote their church online and lead more visitors to their church.
Please visit http://www.usachurches.org to view our current logo.
Our current logo includes both an icon with a cross and a wordmark with our name. We like the idea behind our logo, but agree that something new and fresh is needed.
We would like a simple and unique logo that is either a refresh of our current logo or a new design.
We like our current color scheme, which includes hex #000066, #CCCCFF, #666699, #FFFFFF, and #CCCCCC. The same colors may be used, although we are open to new ideas.
Our name USAChurches.org must continue to be incorporated into our logo. It's also important that the .org in our name continue to stand out at the end, as we want visitors to remember how to find us.
The new logo may or may not include a cross (or other symbol/icon) in the design.
Do NOT include our tag line - "Looking for a church? Find a church today!” - in the design.
Our logo will likely continue to appear against a dark background on our website, but we would also like you to include a version that would present well against a white background. It may also be used on business cards and other materials.
Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo.
We will need:
1) Full colored, CMYK file for the printed file formats (EPS, TIFF);
2) JPG and layered .psd (RGB) for web formats;
3) Black and reversed-out version for use in other situations.
