The Vegetarian Health Institute
Our flagship product is The Vegetarian Mastery Program. It's a series of 50 online lessons that teach people to thrive on a vegetarian diet, and not be vulnerable to deficiencies. We also offer custom menu planning, and will sell cooking videos in the future. You can read more here:
Most of our students are adult women. 1/3 are vegetarians. 2/3 are vegans (i.e. they eat no meat, fish, dairy, or eggs). They enroll in our program mostly to learn about nutrition.
For example, how to get enough calcium, iron, protein, and Vitamins A, B12, and D.
But they also learn practical tips, such as how to save money on health food, save time in the kitchen, eat well while traveling, and overcome the social challenges of eating differently.
They have chosen a meat-free diet for a few reasons. (1) Ethical: they don't want to inflict suffering on animals. (2) Health: they want to reduce their risk of high blood pressure, cholesterol, heart disease, or type 2 diabetes. (3) Ecological: they want to reduce their ecological footprint and live a more sustainable lifestyle.
I'd like an icon integrated with our company name. Something original, not reminiscent of generic clip art.
There should probably be green in the logo. Other colors are welcome too. It should represent health, and "thriving". It should have a classy / professional quality. Not cartoon-ish or too informal.
You can leave the word "The" off the beginning of our company name.
It will be used in two ways: (1) at the top of our website and (2) in print materials, such as booklets and PDFs.
If you create a logo out of our initials, then please also spell out our company name to the right of it. (Don't cram it underneath the logo in tiny letters.)
Remember, this will appear at the top of our website.
I am attaching the cover of our Vegetarian Mastery Program because I like the color scheme. Your logo doesn't need to emulate this design, but hopefully, it will complement the design.
