Very happy with the end result! We started with a few different rough examples to choose a general direction, then iteratively refined one choice.
I especially liked the "in-action" shots of the logo - I think they were called mock-up?
Can recommend him unconditionally :)

Our image is one of an established brand with an air of prestige. At the same time, we do our business via the Internet, so we are a digital company in all respects. We want a logo that will be instantly recognizable, but doesn't rely just on fonts. We are hiring a graphic artist to do something we can't do alone. Our prospective clientele are business owners and marketing managers. In some cases, they are individuals who need a bio written, so that means diverse demographics.
The header on our website is a gold color, and our amateurish logo uses Williamsburg blue, dark brown, greens and blues, but we would consider any colors that aren't loud or out of character with our image. We want to incorporate our tagline into the design: copy and content for a global market
