We are creating a new way to understand movie scripts: with software. Visitors can view analysis of thousands of publicly available produced/non-produced screenplays, and see what makes them good, bad, or "unique."
Users can submit their own scripts for analysis, and get additional features like text-to-speech with different voices for each character, and (actually relevant) grammar checking.
Screenwriters, amateur and professional, as well as agents and film production companies looking to filter submissions.
I'm going to charge for the service, so I'd like to look respectable. ;-)
The name screenplaypen.com, a play on "screenplay pen" and "screen playpen". My idea is to have screenplays (e.g. reams of paper with the words "FADE IN:" at the top) in a playpen. Maybe squeeze in a play on the words "pen" and "screen" as well. I'm sure you can be more creative, though! :-)
Colors and whatever are up to you, but it would be nice to fit into the pink/red scheme of the (early-stage) website I'm hacking up: http://www.screenplaypen.com
I'd prefer a transparent background, if possible. Having the text screenplaypen.com is optional, but might be good.
I'd like all of these image formats: .ai, .psd, and .png (and .gif/.jpg would be nice, too).
