How LeeNC started their logo design journey
Living with Your Heart
My website does two things: it tells my family's story of living with heart disease, and also provides readers with guidance and support in their own journey toward a heart-healthy lifestyle. The how-to sections are pretty straight-forward and informative, but the blog is more of a reflection of my personality: irreverent, silly, and a little snarky. I want this site to be a place where people can come at a difficult time in life to find support, information, community, and perhaps a bit of humor.
A major part of my message is about food and cooking, but medicine, exercise, stress-reduction, and daily life in a busy family are relevant, as well. Check out the site, http://livingwithyourheart.com/, to get a sense of my voice.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I'm targeting anyone who lives with heart disease, or lives with someone who has heart disease. The age range is pretty wide--my husband was 37 when he had bypass surgery, but obviously, many people don't realize they have a problem until they're into their 50s or 60s. I'm after the ones who want to know how to solve the problem.
