Ymir is a brand that creates high quality products, tools and gear for hiking, camping, bushcraft and general outdoor activities. It's target audience are people who love being out in nature and need something reliable, sturdy and strong that can protect and aid them in any rough environment.

The word Ymir does not need to be in the actual logo, a seperate, minimalistic and abstract symbol is preferred. Feel free to use the letter Y, but again, this is not required. A minimalistic and abstract symbol is the most important requirement. The brand Ymir should be a representation of nature, in its essence. When people see the logo of Ymir, they should feel like they are closer to nature. The symbol should be strong and reliable, but also elegant with an ancestral flare to it. A famous example of an abstract logo that is similar to what we are interested in are "The deathly hallows" from "Harry Potter". Feel free to experiment with any ideas that you have. But as a rule of thumb, Don't to make it too complicated, if you want to incorporate the brand name into the logo, only use the letter Y. Try not to make it a plain depiction of an animal or something that would be recognizable as something familiar. The symbol should be a minimalistic representation of nature, but unlike anything seen before.
