Caravans seem way off the “young actives” target market but it’s exactly who we are wanting to appeal to.
In Australia caravaning is being taken up more and more by young active people with or without kids who want to getaway just for a weekend. With this in mind we are manufacturing easy, “plug and play” affordable caravans just for this market. 30-45 year olds with or without children who, on a whim, can hook up their van and pack their surfboards, bikes and other sports equipment and head a up the coast for the weekend. This is opposed to the current vans here all being designed and marketed to retirees who head out for week/months at a time.
In short we want to our caravans to be the catalyst to help couples or families
get away from home for a weekend or week by making it as simple as possible to do so.
We need a logo/emblem/symbol that appeals to this younger markets like no other caravan brand is currently doing..
30-45 year old
Male and Female
Couples no kids but also;
Active and healthy
Into sports of that age group e.g. racing, gaming, surfing, bike riding
Moderate to high income
Although we like the idea of a caravan in the logo it isn’t necessary. If so we’d prefer it was more abstract. Even an animal or other symbols or lettered emblem could be a better option.
A simple, clean main logo with Vanns text either incorporated or included adjacent to a emblem/symbol/silhouette that can be used separate to the full Vanns wording.
We want “Vanns” for most of our branding but the simple distinctive emblem/symbol/silhouette is very important as it would be used in larger format at the front of our caravans but also other branded marketing. E.g. we believe in sponsorship marketing so in this instance would use our emblem/symbol/silhouette more prominently than the Vanns text. Think automotive branding, racing, sports associations etc. it needs to look cool and appeal to younger active types.
