How MandrelWorks started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Mandrel Works or Mandrelworks or MandrelWorks or mandrelworks
What’s your company slogan?
No - but I'm open to the idea of the word MandrelWorks (flexible on capitalization) being incorporated into the logo
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I design & create handmade jewelry. I will sell online as well as in boutiques. Will target 30-40-something women who appreciate handmade products and are willing to pay for the art/effort/design. Heavier/larger pieces will target men. Pieces will all be hand crafted - soldered, sanded, forged, etc.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Art & Design
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Reds: Energy, action, passion and love.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
My pieces are primarily sterling silver, often oxidized, but also some mixed metals (copper, gold, etc). Most designs are simple, clean and minimalist. Some pieces are heavier, but never ornate/filigree. The ring mandrel was one of the first tools I obtained for jewelry making & has been on my bench since that day.
