Finish Line construction is a newly formed startup here in New York City (The borough of Staten Island to be exact). When I say startup, I mean that I have just registered this business with the appropriate licenses, and insurances, eventhough I have been doing this work for years for family, and friends. Tagline: suggestions wanted Desired Color Scheme: Any color scheme as long as it is professional. Maximum of 3 colors allowed Desired Style: I'm looking for something Fun, but yet professional. Open to your suggestions Accepted File Formats: Compressed folder with Jpeg, Bitmap, Gif, PSD, PDF, Ai, EPS. Vector based a MUST Dont let the word Construction confuse you. We do not wear hard hats, or work on High Rise buildings. We are strictly a residential construction contractor. We mostly install: Windows, Doors, wood flooring, Kitchens, and Mouldings. Mostly interior work. (It's where the most money is) =) I'm looking for a logo for my new company. In this contest, I will be providing accurate, and timely feedback. I will be rating each design on a 1-10 scale. The first contestant that reaches 10 will be paid, as will the second highest rated logo. I hope you all will enjoy my rating system so that you can know where you stand, and wont be insulted. I encourage you all to work with me, and I will take that in mind when rating your designs. This contest was held for 30 days so that I can make sure I receive a design I'm looking for. ** please note I need this logo ASAP ** Please work on this at your earliest convenience, I will not allow this contest to drag out 30 days as long as I'm receiving quality work. Just because the name of my company is Finish Line Construction, it does not mean that I'm looking for a checkered flag design. Please be creative. My vision for this logo right now is The front of a Ford Econoline work van modified to look like a drag car big tires and all (not a funny car). This is just my initial vision and I'm open to any creative idea that any of you can come up with. I encourage you all to come up with something if you have a better idea. Most importantly, I'm looking for a professional, fun, but not overwhelming design. This is why I would like to limit the logo to 3 colors or less. I feel anything with more than 3 colors can start to look like clipart. If you fell you can make it work with more than 3 colors then go for it. This logo will be used on my business cards, website, Hats, Shirts, Letter head, work van, work car (2006 Mustang GT), and anything else I can think of. I would encourage you all to please show me a sample on a business card, Hat, Shirt, and side of a van, if you can so that I can make a better descision. With that being said. I will need this logo to be designed as a Vector image so that I can fit it to anything I need in the future without it distorting. If you can not provide a vector based image, please do not bother to enter this contest. My company does not currently have a tagline. If you can think of something that fits my company, I'd aprreciate that. Sorry for the long description, but I'm trying to provide ya'll with the best description, and hope I'm not leaving anything out. Please do not PM me. Ask all your questions in this contest.
