CabraghMan got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Check out CabraghMan's Logo design contest…
We act as client's internal IT staff dealing not only with the computer stuff but also with staff and other IT suppliers so want a logo that will appeal to customers and suppliers saying "we are in this together"
What's your vision?
Background We have been supporting customers for 10 years looking after PCs, Servers, etc. However we have always done with without "making a lot of noise" about what we do. We don't advertise yet (hence the logo requirement) but get virtually all out work from referrals. Concept Would like the logo to somehow reassure the client that "it's OK - myITDepartment will deal with it." Our customers consider us to be virtually employees, available in the room next door so to speak operating 24/7 keeping an eye on things. We want them to immediatlely "think" of us if they require anything to do with IT. The logo is to be used on upcoming website - (another probable contest), our web helpdesk, tee shirts, on stationary and we need a special size (250x60) for invoice stationary. Can we have it submitted in suitable resizeable format but it should also be in JPG, EPS etc. All rights to the logo with be transferred to us. Will provide regular feedback - good luck.
- tageline - "Dealing with IT ... so you don't have to" - Tag line can be incorporated or left out but would like to see logo with and without tagline incorporated. - We want to be able to print ourselves - so keep colours to minimum - Need an "icon" included to go in the systm tray for our monitoring software. This icon will have 3 different states depending on status of monitored PC. - Really like "simple" "clean" "elegant" stuff such as the old abc.com logo, the www.mobitel.si logo, the www.categoric.com logo, the www.designexchange.org logo and www.infiniti.com
- No 3D stuff - No references to nerds - Nothing complex - No Grids - No pictures/icons of mouse/computer/keyboards
