Great job - easy to work with and very creative! Well done!
Did everything we asked for and was very responsive to our requests.
Excellent. Paul listened to feedback and did a great job of translating our thoughts into a brilliant design. His speed of response was amazing.
We would be very happy to work with Paul again in the future.
How rachelvT started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Technician of the Year
What’s your company slogan?
We don't have one yet, but are open to suggestions.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The parent organization is the The Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) and we advance heavy duty on- and off-road equipment management as a career. We represent fleet professionals who work in construction, government, utilities, energy, and mining and more. We build and maintain relationships among manufacturers, users, government agencies, educational institutions and others involved in the design and operation of equipment. The affiliate organization that the logo is for is the AEMP Education Foundation. The AEMP Foundation Technician of the Year Award is presented annually to the individual who exemplifies the heavy equipment profession’s best technician. In recognizing technicians who are models of excellence within the profession, we have two goals:
1- Elevate the stature of the career
2- Bring awareness to the critical issue of the crippling technician shortage found across the entire industry.
The logo will be the Technician of the Year logo, that will be use promote the nomination process, the award ceremony and the award recognition.

The logo has to resonate with a tough, hard-working, male dominated crowd and not only represent the best of the best of a "dirty, greasy" profession, but speak to the fact that this profession is becoming more high-tech and sophisticated on a daily basis.
The logo has to also speak to the fact that this is a sought after recognition within the industry. We want to use it to convey stature, expertise achievement.
We want to create a logo that helps promote a different, more sophisticated image of today’s technician AND highlights the critical issue of the technician shortage.
