netSpray is a web 2.0 open, user centered, free of charge site that allows widgets to be dropped anywhere on the net. Thus the name, netSpray.com. The idea is to 'spray the net' or scatter widgets across the Internet. I'm here to provide a ton of feedback and keep you involved to help you win the contest. Looking for something colorful and fresh.
netSpray.com
I'm definitely looking for something everyone will like. The logo should be a web 2.0 logo meaning translucent with subtle gradients and shades. Pastels preferred but I am open to full color submissions too.
Just text will not be good enough. I need a graphic icon as part of the logo. The icon can be part of the logo, next to it or around it. Original submissions should be without the “.com” in the logo. Final submission will include 2 versions. One with the “.com” and one without. Color and gray scale version.
The word "spray" can have a negative connotation so I want to avoid anything with bullet holes. Use the word "spray" with a positive slant. It can be web 2.0 edgy but must be acceptable by all people. It can also be simple. I don't think graffiti type text will work, but I'll leave that up to you.
Visual Ideas:
... the words "net" and "spray" separate color shades as in (ie. http://www.buzzpal.com)
... "netSpray" overlay of letters (ie http://www.ebay.com)
... the word "netSpray" is becoming visible like in the process of appearing
... a quantity of small objects flying across the web
... a spray could take on the look and effect of a tie dye t-shirt
... "netSpray" could take on the meaning of "broadcast" (ie. concentric circles)
... "netSpray" could take on the meaning of rss (ie. http://www.aaronovadia.com/clients/…_icon.jpg)
Most of these are just suggestions, do whatever you want.
