I am so impressed that sigode managed to submit a logo I did not know I was looking for to compliment my new gallery name. I loved sigode's logo so much that I awarded 2 winners in my design contest. I love the way sigode captured the pearls gallery name but allowed the detachment of a separate logo in such a unique way that demonstrated creativity while conveying my gallery name. Thank you for a beautiful logo.
How HamishB started their logo design journey
We are creating a specialised website for pre employment reference checks. A large part of our business model involves these being completed online; not just via a phone. We are very open-minded with the design and will provide feedback along the way in order to assist you.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Ezy Ref Checks will predominantly be an online service for employers to conduct reference checks/pre-employment checks on potential employees. Traditionally these involve a phone call or perhaps a faxed form where a candidates previous employer rates/comments on their work performance. A large part of our business model is taking this online and therefore we want a fairly modern logo design that stands-out, makes a statement but is also easy on the eye due to the large variety of professionals visiting the site.
We don't really have too many ideas or restrictions on design at the moment. Bright colours vs. pastel/dull colours are preferred. We will be designing a web site and running a contest around the finished logo so this may need to be taken into consideration.
I want it to be bright/vibrant but not tacky/cheap, so keep the professional look. I know there is numerous products in the world with "Ezy" in them but our market is aimed at professional people. We just want it to bright, maybe slightly technical to emphasis that we are selling an online solution (as well as more traditional solutions). We are very open-minded with the design and will provide feedback along the way in order to assist you.
We will require the final product converted to a couple of large images that I can manipulate easily i.e. jpg as well as the vector graphics files so I can pass this onto a future designer for the website.
To be honest, we are pretty flexible with the design but in general I’m not a fan of circular designs, I like sharp edges. I would prefer to steer clear of dull colours.
